Over-the-air updates with ARCANIX

The problem

The management of installations in heterogeneous environments poses a particular challenge. While simple administration can be carried out in server environments using Ansible and the like, this becomes much more complex in the IoT area. Devices cannot always be updated immediately, requirements for an existing update can change retrospectively and devices can differ due to special configurations. ARCANIX Configuration Management was developed for this reason.

The solution

ARCANIX Configuration Management has set itself the goal of eliminating this problem. The idea: a central application in which updates can be defined and managed. The main focus is on compatibility.

A device is currently not online? No problem, an update can be scheduled for a device today and as soon as it gets Internet, the update will be loaded, even if years have passed in between.

An update needs to be changed due to a critical security vulnerability or changes in dependencies? No problem, as ARCANIX relies on a loose graph architecture, updates can also be adapted and changed afterwards as required.

A customer has special requests and a device configuration differs? No problem, as our software solution allows you to define granularly what should and should not be changed, the application is resilient and can also handle different environments well.
